Today, many people use the Internet which has been able to provide us with social media. We think that only people within our age group use social media. However, our very own parents are able to access social media. They love letting people know what's going on in their lives, updating their Facebook status. They'll take a lot of pictures of you and your siblings so they can share them to the entire world. Most of these pictures are posted on special events or occasions such as, a birthday, Christmas, Halloween, etc. I don't really mind them taking pictures, it only bothers me when they take too many of them. My family probably takes 100 pictures before they are done. Parents should be allowed to use social media because it does nobody any harm. Some people may find it embarrassing but it brings our parents happiness and joy.
Ahahaha same... I hate it when my parents take too many photos. I don't even like being in photos. Anyways, I agree with you, I mean what's wrong with having some fun? They want to show off how proud they are of their children to others, and keep up to date with the things going on. I have family living in another country, and the only way we can communicate (using the least costing way) is through social media. International phone calls are very expensive, so the next best thing is social media, I mean it's free, what more do you want. I really do not mind my parents posting my pictures, or even embarrassing photos since, this is part of me, there is no reason to hide it.
ReplyDeleteI agree my parents do the same.
ReplyDeleteI realize that as kids we hate getting annoyed with anything done by our parents, but in their defense, they want to take photos to save the moment and share it to others. They intend no harm and surely don't want to be annoying to their children. It is common for parents to overload kids by taking too many photos. If this is the case, then why not just ask them to simmer down on the camera?
